The urban coop "La Villa"
- It comes in pre-assembled pieces and with an exterior coating with a primer to prepare it to be painted in the color of your dreams;
- It can contain from 3 to 8 hens;
- It can offer you 4 feet (1.2 meters of perch for 3-5 hens) or double if you double the roost bars!
- It offers you 2 spacious nesting areas in the standard model. And you can double in special order;
- It is made of solid and very resistant materials
- Insulated for winter;
- It provides 16- to 19-gauge galvanized pin with small 10 to 12 mm 10 to 12 mm tiles;
- It measures 1.2 square meters ( 4 feet by 4 feet ) for the chicken house part and the aviary provides 1.2 meters wide by 3.2 meters long (4 feet wide by 10 or 12 feet long). Total length is 14 feet;
- The height is 7.5 feet or 2.2 meters;
- It will take less than 2 hours for three people to assemble it.
The Chicken Coop La VIlla is solidly built of treated wood and other safe materials and allows you to assemble it with the help of the assembly guide. It is delivered to you in pre-assembled parts with pre-drilled holes.
We have planned a henhouse completely adapted to the rigours of our winters, insulated, well ventilated and easy to clean. The run and its closed side walls better protect your hens from high winds and storms to keep them dry!
Unfortunately, too many hens fall prey to predators. The Urban Chicken Coop La VIlla has a very strong wire that will prevent predators from entering. You will have to secure your perimeter with concrete slabs all around in order to place the chicken coop and thus prevent predators from digging under the structure. An access door integrated to the aviary can be managed by you according to your wishes to let them out of the aviary or not.

Indoor comfort
The easier your barn is to clean, the healthier your chickens will be. For their comfort, the sleeping area is insulated in the walls, ceilings, floors, doors as well as the nesting area.
Two large egg-laying sections are at their disposal, 4 ventilation openings and a window for light.

Roof finition (see options)
You will have the choice to make your roof yourself either with asphalt shingles or other materials. We can calculate the addition of roofing materials for you or you can order them yourself. You will need to waterproof your roof against rain and snow. Most municipal by-laws require a waterproof roof.
